FRP pipes, also known as fiberglass reinforced plastic pipes (FRP pipes), are made with glass fiber and its products as reinforcement, an unsaturated polyester resin, epoxy resin, and other materials as a matrix, and optionally with inorganic non-metallic particulate materials such as quartz sand as fillers. They offer advantages such as light weight, high strength, corrosion and aging resistance, excellent hydraulic performance, and flexible design. They are widely used in the petroleum, chemical, power, metallurgy, and construction industries etc.
